Beaded-Edge Scarf Crochet Pattern Download

Description

This scarf is V-shaped, much like a shawlette. The fringe is beaded, and gives the scarf some extra weight.

Finished Size: One size; 7″/18cm wide x 40″/119.5cm long on neck edge (excluding fringe)
Yarn: Filatura Di Crosa SUPERIOR 70% cashmere, 25% schappe silk, 5% extrafine merino wool (0.88oz/25g balls of 330yds/300m): #19 periwinkle, 1 ball
Yarn weight: 2-Fine.
Gauges: 16 fsc = 4″/10cm; 4 reps in pat = 4 ½”/11.5cm; 8 rows in pat = 4″/10cm
Needles: #7 (4.5mm) crochet hook; 13/14 (.9mm) steel crochet hook, for attaching beads. Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Yarn needle, 177 beads, approx. 4 mm, E-type beads or any with holes large enough to accommodate technique
