The Beacon Fire Cardigan’s striking dropped-stitch motif grows and fades like signal-fire smoke on the horizon. This cardigan is worked back and forth in separate pieces and seamed. The back is worked top-down, and the fronts are worked side-to-side.

NEEDLES SIZE 5 (3.75 mm): 24” circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
NOTIONS Markers (m); tapestry needle.
GAUGE 22 sts and 28 rows = 4” in St st; 20 sts and 26 rows = 4” in Wave patt.
