Yarn:  Universal Yarn Bamboo Pop (50% bamboo, 50% cotton; 292 yd [266 m]/3 ½ oz [100 g]): #117 Emerald, 3 (3, 3, 4, 4, 5, 5) balls.

Needles: Size 5 (3.75 mm): 24–32″ and 16″ circular (cir), and set of doublepointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Markers (m); removable markers; stitch holders or waste yarn; size 12/6 (1 mm) crochet hook or size to fit through beads; 384 (448, 512, 576, 640, 704, 768) 4 mm wood beads (see Notes).

Gauge: 23 sts and 31 rows = 4″ in St st.
