Katya Wilsher designed the minimalist Barcelona Jacket with “a simple, clean, austere look.” An asymmetrical double-breasted bodice, curved hems, a carefully shaped collar, corded edges, and hidden snap closures make texture framed by line and structure the main focus. A refined angora-blend tweed creates depth.

Finished Size 321/2 (37, 401/2, 45, 481/2, 53, 561/2)” bust circumference, closed. Cardigan shown measures 37″, modeled with 3″ positive ease.
Yarn Debbie Bliss Donegal Luxury Tweed (85% wool, 15% angora; 97 yd [87 m]/50 g): #08 green, 10 (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16) skeins. Yarn distributed by Knitting Fever.
Yarn Weight #4 – Medium
Needles Body, sleeves, and collar. size 8 (5 mm): 24″ and 40″ circular needles (cir). Trim. size 7 (4.5mm): 24″ and 40″ cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers (m); removable markers or waste yarn; smooth, contrasting waste yarn for provisional CO; tapestry needle; six 5/8″ snaps; sewing needle and matching thread.
Gauge 18 sts and 28 rows = 4″ in moss st on larger needles.
