Description

This cardigan has extra ease and length for a comfortable, relaxed fit. At the same time, an eyelet-stitch pattern on the sleeves adds elegance and visual interest. In an airy worsted-weight wool, the fabric has rustic appeal made modern by a bright hue.

Finished Size: 34 (36½, 39½, 43½, 45, 48, 51½)” bust circumference, buttoned. Cardigan shown measures 36½”, modeled with 2½” of positive ease.
Yarn: Harrisville Designs Highland (100% wool; 200 yd [183 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #23 magenta, 5 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 8) skeins.
Yarn Weight: #4 – Medium
Needles: Sizes 6 (4 mm) and 7 (4.5 mm): 32″ circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); removable m; stitch holders; tapestry needle; six 1″ buttons.
Gauge: 15 sts and 22 rows = 4″ in St st on larger needle; 17 sts and 22 rnds = 4″ in Eyelet patt on larger needle.
