Description

This pair of fingerless mitts are worked in the round from an initial
triangle, then are finished with short-row shaping that tapers to a point. An
optional crocheted edging adds visual interest to these long gauntlets.

Finished Size: 5 ½” wrist circumference, 71 /2″ cuff circumference, and 9 ½” long from wrist to cuff, relaxed.
Yarn: Manos del Uruguay Wool Clásica (100% wool; 138 yd [126 m]/100 g): #69 hibiscus, 1 skein. Yarn distributed by Fairmount Fibers.
Yarn Weight: #4 – Medium
Needles: Size 9 (5.5 mm): set of double-pointed needles (dpn).
Notions: Markers (m) in three colors, cable needle (cn), yarn needle, size I/9 (5.5 mm)
crochet hook (optional).
Gauge: 17 sts and 24 rows = 4″ in St st.
