In the February 2018 Art Lesson, mixed-media artist Cathy Nichols demonstrates how to paint a metaphor. After selecting a simple image, you’ll extend the image to create the metaphor and then transform it with paint, pens, collage papers, and your imagination. Cathy tells stories with her art.
