Description

Make a lightweight shawl with delicate lace edging from the Arrows Shawl pattern. Perfect for your spring wardrobe, this shawl uses bobbles and lace knitting techniques to work up quickly and easily. The shawl is worked from the narrow end to the wide end, knitting up quickly in a worsted-weight wool-nylon blend.

Specific Yarn Used: Manos del Uruguay Alegría Grande (75% superwash Merino wool, 25% nylon; 197 yd 180 m/3½ oz 100 g): #AG2149 Petal, 5 skeins. Yarn distributed by Fairmount Fibers.


Needles Size: 7 (4.5 mm): 32” circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.


Notions: Marker (m); tapestry needle.

Gauge: 19 sts and 34 rows = 4” in garter st.
