Description

An asymmetrical arrangement of unusual cables with chunky, tactile textures as well as old favorites makes up this sampler cowl. A softly haloed alpaca/wool blend makes fisherman’s knitting luxurious.

Size:

24″ circumference and 8″ high.

Yarn: Blue Sky Alpacas Suri Merino (60% baby suri, 40% merino; 164 yd

[150 m m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #418 dusk, 2 skeins.

Yarn Weight:#5 – Bulky

Needles: Size 9 (5.5 mm): 16″ and 24″ circulars (cir). Size 8 (5

mm): Two double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the

correct gauge.

Notions: Two cable needles (cn); stitch markers (m); tapestry needle.

Gauge: 18 sts and 23 rows = 4″ in St st on larger needles; 26 sts

and 28 rows = 4″ in Chart E patt on larger needles.
