Description

Create spectacular silver cuffs without soldering. Joined by rivets, this metal worked bracelet combines roll printing, hydraulic die forming, and fold forming to give the design texture. And surprising watercolor paper and window screens elements add that perfect touch intrigue and inspiration.

Required Materials: 20 gauge sterling silver sheet, 26 gauge sterling silver sheet, 18 gauge fine silver round wire, common aluminum window screening, aluminum gutter screening (holes about 0.1″ square), watercolor paper, painter’s masking tape (2″ wide). See project for complete list.


Tools Needed: Jeweler’s saw, hand files and polishing papers, microfold confirming pliers, #60 drill bit, bench shear, microfold brake (or industrial tube wringer), rolling mill, Bonny Doon hydraulic anticlastic bracelet tools, bench vise, annealing torch, pickle pot and pickle.
