The Alcova Scarf is a classic unisex scarf with a bit of a twist— literally and figuratively. The cables in this handsome scarf are completely reversible and produce a fabric that is nearly identical on both sides. This scarf is visually striking, highly wearable, and widely appealing.

Difficulty Level: Easy
Finished Size: 8½” wide at middle, 11″ wide at each end, and 55″ long.
Yarn: HiKoo Simplinatural (40% baby alpaca, 40% fine merino wool, 20% mulberry silk; 183 yd [167 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #032 first press olive, 4 skeins. Yarn distributed by Skacel.
Needles Size: 8 (5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Cable needle (cn); tapestry needle.
Gauge: 32 sts and 24 rows = 4″ in K2, P2 Rib, relaxed.
