This stunning top uses brioche-like striping to create an open keyhole that can be worn in the front or the back. Buttons fasten up each side, adding some extra style.

FINISHED SIZE 35½ (37½, 39½, 43½, 46½)“ bust circumference. Sample shown measures 35½”, modeled with 3½“ positive ease.
YARN Cascade Yarns Ultra Pima (100% pima cotton; 220 yd (200 m)/3½ oz (100 g)): #3719 buff (beige; MC), 3 (4, 4, 4, 5) hanks; #3721 ginseng (green; CC), 2 (3, 3, 3, 3) hanks.
HOOK Sizes C/2 (2.75 mm), D/3 (3.25 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
NOTIONS Stitch markers (m), 4; yarn needle; sewing needle and coordinating thread; 5/8” (16 mm) silver buttons (sample used: buttons by La Mode, item #2403), 8.
GAUGE 21 hdc and 16 rows = 4” in patt, with larger hook.
