This cardigan fits perfectly on everyone: Waist darts are applied after knitting, creating a boned look and made-to-measure fit. The designer uses chunky edgings and buttons to contrast with the delicate, feminine look.

Finished Size: 32 (34 ½, 37, 42, 45, 47 ½, 50)” bust. Cardigan shown measures 34 ½”, modeled with about 3″ positive ease.
Yarn: Louet KidLin Laceweight (49% linen, 35% kid mohair, 16% nylon; 250 yd [229 m]/50 g): #6 Mexican orange, 5 (6, 7, 8, 8, 9, 10) balls.
Yarn weight: #0 – Lace
Gauge: 12 ½ sts and 18 rows = 4″ in St st on larger needles with yarn doubled.
Needles: Sizes 9 (5.5 mm) and 10 ½ (6.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Size K/10 ½ (6.5 mm) crochet hook; tapestry needle; seven 7/8″ buttons (buttons shown: JHB style #1805); removable markers; sewing needle.
