Description

Inspired by a sweater worn by a nineties rock star this Aberdeen Pullover features drop shoulders with tighter-fitting sleeves, giving it an updated look suitable for all genders. Thick stripes, stockinette stitch, and worsted-weight yarn make this a quick and simple knit.

Finished Size: 37½ (42½ , 46, 50, 53½ , 58½ )" bust circumference. Pullover shown measures 42½ "; modeled with 10½ " of positive ease.

Specific Yarn Used: Cascade Yarns Highland Duo (70% baby alpaca, 30% merino wool; 197 yd [180 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #2300 ruby (red; A) and #2303 grey (B), 3 (3, 3, 4, 4, 5) skeins each.

Needles: Size 6 (4 mm): straight and 16" circular (cir). Size 7 (4.5 mm): straight. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Marker (m); stitch holder; tapestry needle.

Gauge: 18 sts and 24 rows = 4" in St st on larger needles.
