Pfeiffer Shawl by Susanna IC

Earth tones, garter stitch, and openwork comprise the beautiful crescent-shaped Pfeiffer Shawl. Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend comes in a variety of stunning space-dyes and tonals to suit your palette and wardrobe.

Difficulty Easy

Finished Size 52.5″ wide at upper edge, 17″ tall at center.

Yarn Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend (70% extrafine merino wool, 30% silk; 150 yd [137 m]/1.75 oz [50 g]): #3104 prairie (gold/brown variegated; MC) and #300X topaz (gold; CC), 2 skeins each. Yarn distributed by Fairmount Fibers.

Needles Sizes 6 (4 mm), 8 (5 mm), and 9 (5.5 mm): 32″ circular. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers; cable needle; tapestry needle.

Gauge 14 sts and 26 rows = 4″ in garter st on middle-size needle.

Hatton Sweater by Vanessa Ewing

Inspired by vintage styles, the fitted lace and cable Hatton Sweater is made to be worn with wide-leg wool trousers or chic shorts—pin curls optional. This sweater is worked in pieces from the bottom up and sewn together.

Yarn Plymouth Yarn Company Arequipa Worsted (90% superwash merino, 10% mulberry silk; 218 yd [199 m]/3.5 oz [100 g]): #302 taupe, 4 (5, 6, 6, 7) balls.

Denys Vest by Adrienne Larsen

The Denys Vest was inspired by the colors of a sunset over the African plains; it uses solid and gradient yarns to achieve the transitional effect. This cropped vest is worked in the round from the bottom up and then divided at the armholes and worked flat—no steeking required!
