What You Need to Crochet-Along

To crochet this throw you need the following Tunisian crochet hook and yarn:

• Size K/10½ (7 mm) Tunisian hook with a cable at least 20” or longer.
• Plymouth Yarn Encore Worsted in three colors. Colors shown are gray frost, colonial green, and fawn mix. 
• Not using Encore Worsted? You’ll need the following quantities of worsted-weight yarn:
  • Color A 1200 yards 
  • Color B 400 yards 
  • Color C 400 yards

How to Crochet-Along (CAL)

Join Interweave’s editorial experts this summer and crochet the Aegean Dreams Throw, designed by Darla J. Fanton.

Here is how it works:

• Cast-on with the Interweave team on June 1, 2022. 
• Learn the new skills! This project will teach your the basics of Tunisian Crochet and all skill levels are welcome. 
• Join the conversation and connect with other crocheters in the CAL discussion forum.  
• The CAL runs until July 13, 2022. Ask questions, share progress, and cheer your co-crocheters on!
• Can’t finish a throw in 6 weeks? No problem! You do not have to complete the project to win a prize.

Note, you do not need to be an Interweave+ subscriber to take part in the conversation on the discussion page. However, you do need to be signed into your Interweave account.
