This Tapestry Took Six Months (and Multiple Weavers) to Make

What's the most time-consuming weaving project you've ever created? Recently, Australian weavers proudly took a step back to marvel their work after spending 2,500 hours on a World War I inspired tapestry! Weavers began working on the tapestry (which measures about three square meters) in October and finally finished on Friday, April 10.

The tapestry is a visual representation of sorts of the WWI battlefront. It will be revealed at the Australian War Memorial this month.
