In the dusk of the garden scarf

Another in a case study of Kauni wool which features very long and gradual color shifts.  In this version, I used a pretty varied colorway of purple, yellow, and orange warp with a nearly solid green color.  Again, like the others it was a simple draft, this time a sort of huck lace threading with a simple finish.  Twisted fringe, light wash, done.  As with the others the biggest challenge was to maintain a consistently light beat and also to very carefully wind each bobbin to keep the colors shifting in a continuous fashion.
