Happy Anniversary Saunderstown Weaving School

Congratulations to the Saunderstown Weaving School of Rhode Island!

In celebration of their 36th anniversary, they are holding an exhibit at the Hera Gallery in Wakefield, Rhode Island through December 23. There are 79 pieces on display that represent 36 weavers from the school. The show was hung by former Saunderstown student, Karen Donaghay and according to the school's founder, Norma Smayda, "the show is beautifully displayed."

Here's a peek at the outstanding handweaving that can be seen at the exhibit.
