Fabric Dictionary

Did you know that iridescent cotton is also known as changeable fabric and shot cotton? This is cloth woven with different colors for warp and weft. When light plays with the fabric, there can be a dazzling shimmering effect. Shot cotton can be woven by weavers, and it is loved by quilters and other fiber artists and craftspeople.

If you are uncertain of the definition of these words, check out these terms and more at fabricdictionary.com. Hmmm, there may be a weaving crossword puzzle in the future.
