There's an upcoming opportunity for Denver residents to learn about ancient South American history while admiring some pretty stellar weaving. The Denver Art Museum will showcase a tapestry created by the Tiwanaku peoples of Bolivia as part of its "Conversations with Curators" series on Friday, May 1 at 4 p.m.
Those who attend this free event will have the chance to learn about the story and meaning behind the tapestry, straight from the curator herself. More information can be found here.
