If you're a fan of the Kentucky Derby, then you're bound to love the Moffat High Street sheep race. Having just finished its fourth year, the U.K.-based race drew thousands of fans to cheer on their favorite ewes…who were, of course, mounted by hand-knitted jockeys. Racer Ewe Win Ewe Booty was declared the champion alongside her knitted snowman jockey.
The race is a celebration of Moffat's rich history, which is deeply rooted in sheep farming and wool production. All of the racers were supplied by a local farm and sported their own fancy uniforms for the occasion.
