But we called it the Alden Amos Big Book of Spinning instead. 

And big it is, all 496 pages of it. It was twelve years in the making, much of which time was spent deciding on what we could bear to leave out. Alden Amos is known for his solid, deep knowledge of everything about twisting fibers into yarn, and equally known for his strong, sometimes arguable opinions. This is not a book you will read cover to cover, but will dip into again and again as your skills and interest grow.
