Southeast Idaho Fiber Arts Guild takes on a unique Challenge Project
The 2011 Challenge Project for the Southeast Idaho Fiber Arts Guild has been international in scope. Each participant drew the name of a country and could create any item based on that homeland. Products could incorporate native fibers or craft techniques, regional art forms, national colors or symbols, or simply what thoughts came to mind when envisioning that country. Projects were due at their June meeting for show-and-tell where members shared their research, decision-making process, project planning, and execution of ideas to meet the challenge.
