Medina Spinning and Weaving Guild (Ohio) adopts a site at Hale Farm and Village

A study group was formed in the Medina Spinning and Weaving Guild (Ohio) to create an alliance with Hale Farm and Village, a living history museum. The adopted site for meeting is the Saltbox House, built in the 1830s in Richfield and moved in 1962 to Hale Farm. The group is looking at resource material from past study groups and workshops to determine the type of textiles to make for the building. Members can work on their own or as teams to donate their pieces for use in the Saltbox House. Notebooks containing swatches of each piece, the name of the craftsman, and the pattern used will be made for both Hale Farm and the guild library.
