Last call for Spinzilla team member registration.

There are only a few days left to join a spinning team for Spinzilla, the worldwide spinning competition hosted by The National Needlearts Association. Held during Spinning and Weaving Week, October 6‒12, 2014, Spinzilla challenges the handspinning community to learn more about our craft and rally support for the Needle Arts Mentoring Program.

Team spinner registration is booming and has nearly doubled from last year! This is your last chance to join a team as registration ends on September 22, but you can still join the fun as a Rogue Spinner until October 3. A number of teams are already full (twenty-five spinners) and several more are nearly full.

Teams with less than five spots available: Yarn Tree Studio (1), WEBS (1), Spin-Off (editor's note–we are now full!) (1), Meridian Jacobs (1), Fancy Tiger (2), Heritage Spinning (3), The Angora Girls (4), Knotty Ladies & Yarntiques (4), Alaskan Yarn Co. (4), Hill Country Weavers (5).

Team Spin-Off has one more space available. Register today!

Over twenty other teams are still looking for members, and a current list of teams is available on the Spinzilla registration page. For more information, check out the Spinzilla blog and Ravelry group. And here are a few other folks sharing tips on working with handspun yarns, plying, productivity, and more!
