Crossthreads Fiber Guild (Idaho)
A White Elephant Brown Bag challenge was designed to stretch member’s creativity in the Crossthreads Fiber Guild (Idaho). Yarn, fiber, beads, fabric, or supplies that never made it into a project were put into a pile for all members to take turns choosing from. Participants selected their own materials from the accumulated stash, decided how to use them and created an item using a minimum of 75% of what was taken. A sheet listing materials taken is placed in each brown bag that is filled. Items were judged at the May meeting by a vote from those members attending, and prizes were awarded.
