A Wear-With-Everything Scarf to Knit

If there is ever a yarn I love to add to my stash, it is Habu. What lovely textures their yarns have! In Evelyn A. Clark’s Hana Lace Scarf to Knit, featured in PieceWork November/December 2016, she uses their A-1 2/17 Tsumugi Silk, 100% silk yarn, to great effect.

Hana is Japanese for “blossom,” and blossom the yarn does when knit up in this variation of the Ostrich Plume lace pattern. This chic tweedy silk scarf will add flair to your ensemble for just about any situation. If you choose to add the optional beads with your crochet hook, this elegant scarf will take your outfit well into the evening. I love to travel, and I always want to pack lightly. I’ve been on the lookout for a go-to accessory that will pull my look together. Voilà—look no further! This scarf will coordinate beautifully with everything from jeans to a little black dress.
