Celebrate I Love Yarn Day!

Hey, needlework fans! Today we’d like to tell you about a special fiber event taking place this month…and how you can be a part of it!

I Love Yarn Day is a fun, worldwide event taking place Saturday, October 17. Hosted by the Craft Yarn Council, the goal of I Love Yarn Day is for crafters to share their love of yarn with the world in hopes of encouraging others to give knitting, crochet, weaving, and other yarn crafts a try. What better way to spread the joy of the fiber arts than by teaching someone else?

Here are some ways you can get involved with this celebration of all things yarn-related:

  1. Visit I Love Yarn Day on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest to discover ways you can #stitchitforward
  2. Share your story on your blog and social media about how you fell in love with knitting, crochet, or other needlework crafts
  3. Film a short video about why you love yarn, then share it online with the hashtags #ILYD2015 and #stitchitforward

This is a great way to share your fiber arts story with the world, so be sure to get involved!
