Choosing the Yarns

Before we get into the nitty gritty of yarn choices, let’s talk about our approach to choosing Viva Magenta yarns. The Pantone Color of the Year is described as vibrating with “vim and vigor,” “descending from the red family,” and “a nuanced crimson red tone that presents a balance between warm and cool.” With those descriptors in mind, we browsed some of our favorite brands’ colorways seeking out their best crimson shades.
