Take a Peek Inside Interweave’s Ultimate Pattern Collection, 100 Knits
My love for 100 Knits knows no bounds. From the moment I laid eyes on this sleek—and, dare I say, sexy—hardcover pattern collection, I knew there would always be a special place in my heart and in my library for this book. Now, I should probably confess that it’s remotely possible that I may be a tiny bit biased. 100 Knits is the first full book I’ve been able to help edit. Aside from the initial vanity of seeing my name printed in a book for the first time, being a part of the editing for 100 Knits means I got to see firsthand just how much passion went into this book. Trust me when I say this one is special.
While I can continue to wax rhapsodic about this book from now until eternity (and, sorry in advance, I probably will in future blogs), I wanted to share just a few of my favorite things about 100 Knits in hopes that you will fall in love, too.
Our most loved patterns
If you’re wondering who picked all the patterns that went into 100 Knits, the answer is you! We looked at all of the Interweave patterns that you, as a knitter, can’t get enough of. This includes some of your all-time favorites, including the Lucy Hat, the Koolhaas Hat, the City Park Hoodie, the Dahlia Cardigan, and the Swallowtail Shawl, which together have more than 100,000 combined “likes” on Ravelry!
When you own a copy of 100 Knits, not only do you get 100 amazing patterns, you also get a compendium of some of the most beautifully photographed knitted garments and accessories you’ll ever see. This hardcover eye candy makes the best coffee-table book. I have one in my living room, and I can’t tell you how many of my non-knitting friends I’ve caught paging through it in awe.
An amazing lineup of designers
When it comes to the designers featured in 100 Knits, you’ll find a list of some serious heavy hitters. Some of your favorite knits—from people such as Amy Christoffers, Jared Flood, Hunter Hammersen, Courtney Spainhower, Andrea Rangel, Holli Yeoh, and Kristen TenDyke, just to name a few—grace the pages of this collection.
Never run out of patterns again! From socks, hats, cowls, and scarves to tanks, tees, cardigans, and pullovers, there’s a knit for every occasion within 100 Knits!
