Slip into Knit Slippers

It seems crazy to write about knit slippers in July, but knitters work on a different schedule than the weather, always knitting for upcoming seasons. Winter is (always) coming, so slippers it is.

We’ve gathered our most popular knit slippers into one collection, Lazy Weekend Slippers, creating the ultimate slipper source for you and your family. These are great gift knits; you’ll find coziness for everyone on your list.

My favorites are the Ribby Slipper Socks, which come in five sizes, from toddler to adult. They’re knit in a super warm, super bulky yarn, so they knit up lickety-split. The ribbed cuff keeps these babies on your feet, too. These are really more like socks than slippers, which is one of the reasons I love them.

A close second on my list are the Aran Isle Slippers, available in three sizes, child’s, women’s, and men’s. These feature a beautiful cabled pattern on top, seed stitch on the sides, and smooth stockinette on the sole. Knit with Aran-weight yarn, they’re also a quick project. I’ve loved these for a long time, and this might finally be the year I knit them up for winter!

Four more knit slipper patterns round out this collection—Amy Polcyn’s moccasin-style Manitoba Slippers; Lisa Shroyer’s Easy-Peasy Slippers (great for beginners!);  Lisa Rowe’s Suede Slippers with a feminine flair; and Chrissy Gardiner’s lovely, cabled Pavo Slipper Socks.

This collection is as warm and cozy as it gets, so gather your yarn, needles, and download Lazy Weekend Slippers now!

Cheers,

Kathleen
