About the Shaped-Intarsia Tunic by Daniela Nii

Use the shaped intarsia technique along with colorblocking to make a chic knit dress—lightweight thanks to an airy sportweight yarn. 

FINISHED SIZE 34 (37, 43, 47, 50)” bust circumference. Tunic shown measures 34”, modeled with 2½” of positive ease.

YARN Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend (70% merino extra fine, 30% silk; 150 yd [135 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]): #3031 nickel (MC), 4 (4, 5, 5, 6) skeins; #300G coffee (A), 3 (3, 4, 5, 5) skeins; #300X topaz (B), 1 skein. Yarn distributed by Fairmount Fibers.  

NEEDLES Size 6 (4 mm): straight and 16” circular (cir).  Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

NOTIONS Marker (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle.

GAUGE 20 sts and 32 rows = 4” in St st.
