Lumos Knitting Light Features

3 Brightness Levels

The lamps of the Lumos knitting light are push-button controlled and have 3 unique brightness settings.

One of the standout features of the Lumos & Lumos knitting light is its adjustable brightness levels. With three different brightness settings, you can customize the amount of light to suit your needs. Whether you’re working on a project in a dimly lit room or need extra light for fine details, this knitting light has you covered. Lumos provides a handy YouTube video with details on how all the buttons and features work, too.

Evenings spent knitting and streaming have been far more enjoyable for my husband since I started using this light. Rather than keeping lamps and overhead lights on so I can see my stitches, he can make the room dark for a theater-like viewing experience while I have just enough glow from the light to see my work. Win-win.

Adjustable Arms

Another great feature of the Lumos & Lumos knitting light is its flexible arms. The arms allow you to position the lights exactly where you need them, whether you prefer something directly overhead or off to the side. The arms are also independent of each other, so you can use the light of just one arm if that’s all the light you need.

It’s something that sets the Lumos & Lumos knitting light apart from other craft lights on the market is its design. This light is sleek and modern, with a slim profile that won’t take up too much space on your crafting table. The light itself is bright and even, providing a clear view of your stitches without any hot spots or glare.

The first time I took the light out of the package, I was really surprised by how malleable the arms are—they feel downright supple. I thought for sure that they’d be too flexible, but I was wrong. Once you bend them to place, they stay put as you knit.

Easily Rechargeable

In addition to its practical features, the Lumos & Lumos knitting light is also incredibly easy to use. The light is powered by USB, so you can plug it into your laptop or a USB adapter to recharge it. The controls are simple and intuitive, with buttons that allow you to adjust the brightness and turn the lights on and off.

I’ve used the light about a dozen times now and I’ve yet to recharge it. My personal settings are one side illuminated, second level of brightness, with the arm pointed directly at my hands. I especially like this light for knitting with dark yarns. It makes seeing stitches so much easier!
