I count my blessings every day. I am so very lucky to work in the knitting industry, and I truly love my job. Each day, I get to work with beautiful yarn, amazing designers, fabulous patterns, books, videos, and wonderful people. It’s a dream come true.

Do you want to work in the knitting industry? You can, you know. Designer and instructor Gwen Bortner’s new power session, Making Money from Your Craft, will walk you through the process of getting started in the knitting industry.

Gwen’s experience in the knitting world is many-faceted. She’s a designer (her Breacan Swing Coat is a favorite!), teacher, consultant and executive, and a lifelong knitter.

It may seem daunting to make a career change, but Gwen will walk you through the steps, from identifying your strengths and deciding where they would work best in the industry, to setting your goals, to assessing how much money you’ll need to get started.

These examples are just the tip of the iceberg. The knitting business is full of opportunities, and Gwen will show you how to get your foot in the door.

Making Money from Your Craft runs from June 23 to June 28. In this Power Session, Gwen will be available to answer all of your questions and take part in discussions. You’ll learn so much!
