Pattern of the Week: East Beach Tee

There are so many tempting projects in Interweave Knits Summer 2019, but my mind keeps coming back to the East Beach Tee. Its lace pattern, oversized body, and boat neck are beachy perfection.

If you’re planning a beach vacation this summer, this is the sweater for you—you’ll be happy to have it to throw on over your swimsuit when those evening breezes blow!

The knitting here is straightforward; the tee is worked in two pieces from the bottom up, with increases at the sides to shape dolman sleeves and short-row-shaped shoulders.

But designer Megan Kelley spiced it up with side vends, high-low styling, and a pop of color along the edges. Love that detail!

Take the East Beach Tee along with you on all of your summer adventures, beach-bound or not.
