Pattern of the Week: Dual Sport Pullover
From the “Moto Knits” story in Interweave Knits Spring 2018, the Dual Sport Pullover is begging for a leather jacket, and an existential crisis that deserves a motorcycle road trip. Set the tone with a Kerouac quote:
Great things are not accomplished by those who yield to trends and fads and popular opinion.
That’s right. Did you buy this sweater? No. You are a revolutionary with those needles. You are not taking shortcuts. You are ready to take on whatever needs to happen to make your life adventure complete. Sometimes that means starting a new sweater project. Sometimes it means inviting some wind into your hair.
Ride off to the coast in style in the Dual Sport Pullover. The cable motif, inspired by rippling sand patterns left by retreating waves, embellishes the front and back of this simple and wearable raglan sweater.
