Your Knitting Horoscope for October 2017
Your knitting horoscope for October 2017, according to your zodiac sign.
(September 23–October 22)
You’ve been busy making plans and working hard this year on projects that are now coming to fruition. Sit back and enjoy seeing your work come to completion. Did you use your knitting powers to turn all your WIPs into FOs? Take a relaxed approach to planning your next big project, and play around with some fresh ideas in a knitting journal.
(October 23–November 21)
October is a month of power for Scorpio, so use it to create something good! Use your influence to put together a special knit night or throw a party for your knitting crowd. Progressing in personal projects should take a backseat to making connections through your knitting.
(November 22–December 21)
This month is a period of change for Sagittarius, and with that comes a need to remember that you are brave and you know how to thrive in crisis. If you have a big project to finish, put your energy into that and don’t be paralyzed by the challenges it may present. Think about the steps you need to take to become the knitter you want to be and start taking those steps one at a time.
(December 22–January 19)
It’s easy for Capricorn to become depressed when summer is over. While it’s good to be present in that sadness and not ignore it, conjure your favorite knitting and find joy in your everyday through it. There is no need to put pressure on yourself or your knitting to solve all your problems at this moment.
(January 20–February 18)
Autumn is an ideal time for reflection, so look back and see how far you’ve come in your knitting journey. How many projects have you finished over the past few years? How has your knitting improved or changed over time? Take stock of all you have accomplished and be proud of the skills you’ve worked to develop.
(February 19–March 20)
Pisces is drawn to the gloom of fall, but don’t let the gloom consume you. As a creative, it’s a good time to pour yourself into your craft in order to fully express yourself with no boundaries or rules. If an idea for a project has been simmering for a while, get it down on paper or cast on to begin processing any negative feelings you have right now.
(March 21–April 19)
Focus will be important for Aries this month. There may be a lot of little things building up around you and weighing you down. If everyone is pressuring you for knitted gifts, don’t feel obligated to create the things you don’t want to just for the sake of a gift. It’s a good time to let some things go in order to make way for other things and for dreams to be achieved.
(April 20–May 20)
October is a great time for action for Taurus and you should make sure you take advantage of every opportunity that appears. Knit with orange this month! Not only is October orange’s month, but for Taurus it’s the color of luck and prosperity. Have a good time this Halloween and go wild.
(May 21–June 20)
Listen to what important people have to say to you, and ignore your inner doubts as well as those coming from others. Knit a Halloween costume! Don’t take yourself—or your knitting—too seriously this month.
(June 21–July 22)
It’s a great time to focus on and give new life to your living space. Get rid of some old things that don’t bring you joy in order to make room for more that may come later this year or early next year. Surround yourself with images of water or knit with blue yarn. Trust your intuition regarding how you should be spending your money and time, and consider staying at home with your wine and knitting on Halloween rather than going to an event.
(July 23–August 22)
Leos aren’t always confrontational, but this may be a month for that opportunity. Ask for what you want and you will probably get it. If someone has been asking you to make something for them for a long time but you haven’t had the bandwidth or money for materials, communicate with them openly so they understand where you are coming from.
(August 23–September 22)
Stop focusing on financial investments for the moment and invest in something you really love. Virgo craves stability, and you might find it by revisiting a past favorite knitting project, or by taking on a brand-new one. Participating in a knit-along may allow you to give up the reins and let someone else take control.
