Cascade Yarns’ Latest Release

Woolpaka

Fiber content: 60% Peruvian Highland wool / 40% superfine alpaca

Just as the name suggests, this blend of wool and alpaca makes Woolpaka the perfect sweater yarn. Three plies of strands come together to create a sturdy worsted weight yarn that will add a splash of color to your stitch patterns. Because wool and alpaca take dye differently, the colors are absorbed in slightly different shades to give this yarn a gorgeous tonal look.

Bevvy of Beauties from Berroco

Talara

Fiber content: 100% llama

Mistico is a fun and colorful twist on an alpaca blend yarn. The brushed alpaca gives a lofty halo effect while the cotton, wool, and nylon are twisted together to give the core of this yarn a speckled surprise. You can knit patterns with textured stitches and will have a nice halo to your piece without losing stitch definition.

Carousel

Care: Hand wash in cold water on delicate cycle. Lay flat to dry.

With high yardage in each ball of Carousel, you won’t break the bank knitting up larger designs. This yarn would make a fun pair of warm socks or a colorful hat that will keep your noggin warm but is light enough to not make it sweat.
