  1. There is another pattern in this magazine I have a question about it is the Sandwick Pullover. there is a discrepancy between how many stitches you cast on and work in the 2×2 rib (94 st)and what is shows you should have after a decrease row(105 st), but there is no increase between the two. Can you explain this??

    1. Hi Pamela,
If your cast-on number is 94 stitches, you are making the size 37 1/2″. After working the k2, p2 rib you then need to skip to the instructions for sizes “37 1/2 (44, 51)” only.” (Note that for this section only, your size is the one outside the parentheses.)

The decrease row for size 37 1/2″ is worked like this:
      P8, [p2tog, p17] 4 times, p2tog, p8. This is worked over 94 sts: 8 + 76 (19 x 4) + 10 = 94.
      94 – 5 = 89 stitches, which is the number indicated for the size 37 1/2″.
The 105 is the number for the size 44″.

      I hope this helps!
