FALL 2013
Poppy Fields
We regret that number of stitches to be cast-on is incorrect for several sizes. The correct cast-on numbers are as follows:
Using smaller circular needle and Circular Tubular Method cast on 170 (192, 212, 234, 256, 276, 298, 320) sts.
Additionally, the pattern as originally published includes errors in the front shaping. The front shaping should read as follows:
Shape Armholes
Work as for back; and at the same time, when armholes measures 4 (4¼, 4½, 4¾, 5, 3¼, 5½, 5¾)” from divide (ending after a WS row), pm each side of center 23 (21, 21, 19, 19, 17, 17, 15) sts. cont on next RS row as follows:
Shape Front Neck
Next row (RS): Knit to first marker, remove marker, join a second ball of yarn, bind off center 23 (21, 21, 19, 19, 17, 17, 15) sts removing the second marker, knit to end; 12 (14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26) sts rem on each side after all shaping is completed.
Cont working both sides at the same time, with separate balls of yarn as follows:
Work 1 WS row even.
Dec Row (RS): Knit to 3 sts before neck edge, ssk, k1; on other side, k1, k2tog, knit to end; 1 st decreased each side.
Rep the last 2 rows 2 (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) more times; 9 (10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16) sts rem on each side.
Work even in St st until armhole measures 7 (7½, 8, 8¼, 8¾, 9¼, 9½, 9¾)” from divide, ending after a WS row.
Lace Panel Pullover
We regret that there is a discrepancy in the instructions for the back of the sweater, and the neck ribbing is missing from the pattern as published. The pattern description includes a lace panel on the front and back of the sweater. However, the pattern as published features a solid stockinette back. If you would prefer to have a lace panel on the front and back of the sweater, please work the instructions for the back the same as the instructions for the front until the armhole shaping.
Additionally, the instructions for the Neck Trim should read as follows:
Neck Trim
With circular needle, pick up and knit 96 (100, 104, 108, 112, 116, 120) sts evenly around neck edge. Work in k2, p2 rib for 1″. Bind off all sts purlwise.
Wrapped in Ruffles Wrap, page 8
We regret that both the chart and written instructions for the Wrapped in Ruffles Wrap lace pattern included an error. The pattern should read as follows:
Lace
Rows 1–6: Knit.
Row 7 (RS): K3, *k1, yo, ssk, k3; rep from * across.
Row 8: *P3, k3; rep from * across to last 3 sts, p3.
Row 9: K3, *k2tog, yo, k4; rep from * across.

Rep rows 7–10 for patt.
For a revised chart denoting the pattern correction, please download the following chart.

Vintage Rose Top, page 31
We regret that the Vintage Rose Top pattern was published with two errors. The first error is in the number of stitches increased for the smallest size, the correct number of stitches increased is 8. Additionally there is an error in the front neck shaping. The shaping should read as follows:
Dec 3 (1, 5, 5, 5, 4) sts at each neckline edge every other row 1 (1, 3, 3, 3, 3) times.
Dec 4 (4, 4, 4, 5, 5) sts at each neckline edge every other row 3 (4, 1, 1, 1, 2) times.

Row 4 (RS): K1 (3, 1, 2, 1), *k1, C4B; rep from *, end k3 (3, 3, 4, 3).
Red Velvet Blanket, page 61

Red Velvet Blanket Chart

Little Black Shrug
We regret that there is a problem with the row gauge and the front shaping. The row gauge as written makes it difficult to complete the front shaping and match the same size as the back. If you receive a row gauge of 32 rows per 4″ or smaller (more rows per 4″) please complete the sweater as written. If your row gauge is 28 rows per 4″ or larger (fewer rows than 28 in 4″), work the Front Neck Shaping as follows:
Shape neck
Cont in patt, work decreases as follows.
Row 1 (RS): K1, k2tog, k1, *yo, k2tog; rep from * to last 2 sts; k2; 1 st dec.

Violet Duster, page 40
We have received questions regarding an error in the Violet Duster lace pattern around the armhole shaping. We have reviewed this pattern and have not found any errors. We know that it can be difficult to “read” a lace pattern to determine how the stitches line up to compelte the pattern, due to this we have created a chart for the lace pattern around the stockinette armhole to help you keep track of your stitches and see how the stitches line up. When working the armhole shaping, all stitches in the gray shaded boxes should be worked in stockinette stitch.
Violet Duster Revised Chart
