Fall 2011

Dagmar Kimono
We regret there is a transposition in the required yarn quantities and the color order on page 31. The correct quantities are as follows:

Color A: 7 (7, 8, 8, 10) skeins Rome by Hand Painted Knitting Yarns, in color Tanhauser Pastel (hand painted).
Color B: 4 (4, 5, 5, 5) skeins Rome by Hand Painted Knitting Yarns in color Denim (heathered).

Falling Leaves Cardigan
The photographs of the sample garment on pages 58 and 59 shows a rolled edge along the front and neck edge of the cardigan. The pattern instructions work this edging in a k1, p1 rib, which will make the edges lay flat and smooth. If you prefer a rolled edge as pictured, work the edging stitches in stockinette, knitting the stitches on the right side of the work and purling the stitches on the wrong side.

Dena Cardigan
We regret that there is an error on page 15 in the number of stitches cast off for the neck of this sweater. The pattern should read:

Shape neck and shoulders
Next row (RS): Work 18 (22, 24) sts in pat, bind off center 18 sts for back neck, work in pat to end. Place shoulder sts on holder.

Lazy Weekend Socks
We regret that the Lazy Weekend Socks pattern was originally published with an error. Please find the correction below.

After repeating rows 1 and 2 for a total of 24 rows, repeat row 1 once more before turning the heel.

Holiday 2011

Double Diamond Hat and Scarf Set
We regret that there is an error in the hat pattern on page 28. The pattern should read as follows:

Rnd 1: *K7, p1: rep from* around.
Rnd 2: P1, k5, *p3, k5; rep from * to last two sts, p2.
Rnd 3: P2, k3, *p5, k3; rep from * to last three sts, p3.
Rnd 4: P3, k1, *p7, k1; rep from * to last 4 sts, p4.
Rnd 5: Purl.
Rnd 6: Rep round 4.
Rnd 7: Rep round 3.
Rnd 8: Rep round 2.
Rnd 9: Rep round 1.
Rnd 10: Knit.

The remainder of the instructions for the number of rounds and the crown shaping are correct.

Toasty Woodland Wrap
We regret that there is an error in line 7 of the chart on page 34. Knit the center four stitches on the wrong side. The error is only in the chart; the written instructions for row 7 are correct.

Spring 2011

Bobbled Lace Cardigan
Cardigan back; Large size only – after working the two rows of edging pattern 105 stitches remain. Purl the next row decreasing 5 stitches evenly across – 100 sts.

Little Sailor Cardigan
Left and Right Front; Smallest size only – begin neck shaping for the left and right front when piece measures 6” from cast on row.

Mitered Threesome, page 24
We regret that the Mitered Threesome pattern was published with an error in row 2 of the Front Trim instructions. Row 2 should as follows:

Row 2: *K to last st before marker, inc 1, sm, inc 1*, repeat from * to *,  k to end. Mitered threesome

The Berry Bobble Cardigan, page 44
We regret that the Berry Bobble Cardigan pattern was published with an error in row 13. The row should read as follows:

Row 13: *K1, yo, ssk, k7, k2tog, yo; rep from *, end k1.

Summer 2011

Grace Toddler Dress
The pattern as written instructs you to work the first four rows of the sleeves in the trellis lace pattern, and then change to stockinette for the remainder of the sleeve. The dress as pictured in the Summer issue shows the entire sleeve worked in the lace trellis pattern. If you would prefer to have the entire sleeve in the lace trellis pattern, on row 5 do not change to stockinette, and continue to work in the lace trellis pattern following all sleeve shaping as written.

The Zigzag Pullover, page 83
We regret that the Zigzag Pullover pattern was originally published with an error in the zigzag pattern for the size 2X. The zigzag pattern for this size should be worked as for the size small as follows:

Size 2X: K1, p1, k1, work in patt to last 3 sts, k1, p1, k1.

Additionally, there is an error in row 13 of the zigzag pattern. It should read as follows.

Row 13: *K1, [p2, k2] 3 times, p2, k1; rep from * across. Zigzag pullover

Winter 2011

Beginners Basket Weave Hat and Scarf, page 50
We regret that there is an error in the scarf pattern on page 51. The pattern should read as follows:

Work in garter st for 2 rows.

Next row (RS): K8, work (p4, k4) 3 times. Work this row 5 times more (total 6 rows).

Additionally, there is an error in the hat pattern on page 52. The pattern should read as follows:

Shape crown

Row 1 (RS): *K2tog; rep from * across, 57 sts.

Raspberry Seed Dress
We regret that there is an error in the pattern instructions. The dress back and front should have 4 rows of garter stitch after casting on and before starting the textured stitch pattern.
