Family of Socks
We regret that the Family of Socks knitting pattern was originally published with an error. Please find the correction here.

Turn heel

Row 16: (18 sts remain)

Heel Gusset

With a free needle (N1) knit remaining 9 sts. Continuing with same needle pick up 17 sts along side of heel. Pick up and knit 1 st from row below the first instep st to prevent a hole. (28 sts on N1)

With a free needle (N2) work across 33 instep sts.

With a free needle (N3) pick up and knit 1 st from row below first heep st to prevent a hole. With same needle, pick up 17 sts along side of heel and work across 7 of the remaining heel sts, knit last 2 heel sts together. (27 sts on N3)

Cable Trim Jacket

We regret there are several errors in the Cable Trim Jacket by Jennifer Townsend, featured on pages 21 and 55-57 in the Fall 2008 Issue. The correction is for the cabled trim pattern featured on the back, front, and sleeves of the sweater. The pattern correction reads as follows:

Back

Small and large sizes
Rows 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 (WS): K1, p1, kl, pl, *moss st 4, p4*; rep from * to * to last 4 sts; end pl, kl, p1, k1.

Medium and extra large sizes:
Rows 2, 4,6, 8, and 10 (WS): K1, pl , *moss st 4, p4*; rep from * to * to last 2 sts; end p1, k1.
