knit.wear Spring/Summer 2018: Moonflower Dolman

The moonflower is beautiful but untamed; the elegant flowers and dark green leaves have a tendency to spread out on windy stems and overcome gardens. The distinctive lace and stripes of the Moonflower Dolman make this sweater stunning and unexpected, much like the moonflower itself.

This sweater is worked sideways in lace and stocking stitch stripes. This sweater is worked in two pieces sideways from cuff to cuff; Designer Kiri Fitzgerald suggests you make note of the rows worked for a symmetrical front and back.  The front and back are sewn together and the neck, waist, and arm bands are then worked in the round.

But enough about the logistics. Get your needles into this beautifully designed piece, a part of the Verdant Vines collection in knit.wear Spring/Summer 2018.
