knit.wear Fall/Winter 2018: Purple Beet Raglan
Tunics are the most versatile sweaters you can add to your wardrobe. There are so many many ways you can wear them! You can wear them to curl up on the couch on the weekend with leggings and slouchy socks. They pair nicely with a slim trouser and a wide belt for an everyday office uniform. You can also wear them with skinny jeans and ankle boots to meet friends for coffee. They’re one of the most comfortable and wearable sweaters you can make.
The Purple Beet Raglan from knit.wear Fall/Winter 2018 is an excellent example of a fantastic tunic. It’s worked in the round from the bottom up for a fast knit with minimal seaming. The raglan yoke is worked with a beautiful combination of cables and twisted stitches to create a elegant silhouette. With a pair of black tights and ankle boots, you could wear it out to a fancy dinner; it’s equally perfect for binge-watching The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel at home.
It’s made out of a luscious superwash merino wool yarn that has lovely drape and is easy to care for; whether you dropped a bit of lobster in your lap or just dribbled some hot chocolate down the front, you can throw it in the wash without a worry. It’s a great sweater that you can wear all the time.
