knitscene Summer 2018: Sandy Cardigan

This season’s ready-to-wear is all about easy-to-wear, and the classic deconstructed lines of the Sandy Cardigan from knitscene Summer 2018 will serve you well year-round. The pretty allover boxy lace pattern can be partnered with a button-down or tee for a summer or fall look. Once there’s a chill in the air, it’s easy to picture this as the first layer beneath a denim jacket or heavier knit coat.

But to see this garment truly serve its purpose, it just might be the perfect office sweater. Keep it close to ward off the chill of the air-conditioning, and reap the reward of fielding compliments on your handmade effort. The Purl Soho Cattail Silk is calling, and is available is eighteen colors that are made for a wardrobe staple such as this.
