Knitscene Accessories…on SALE!
The first Knitscene issue I ever owned was Knitscene Accessories 2012. I was living in New York, but home in Maryland for a visit, and my mom gave me a copy. I was an occasional knitter at the time, and I really liked small projects because I simply did not have the patience (or, let’s face it, knowledge) to successfully tackle anything with sleeves. I’ve made almost all of the cowls in this issue (like this one and this one!), and tackled my second ever pair of socks that summer because all of the socks looked so cool. I learned all about colorwork and immediately put several projects on my “to knit” list because I suddenly understood how colorwork actually worked!
I still have my copy of this issue, now a little crinkled, dogeared, and tea stained, well traveled and well loved. If you missed out on this issue, or on Knitscene Accessories 2013, now is the time to get either magazine on super sale! They are both full of fantastic shawls, mitts, hats, socks, and more, all small projects perfect for summer knitting, and ideal if you’re just not in the mood for sleeves.
