Interweave Knits Fall 2018: Race Point Pullover

I’ll paint a picture for you: the steel gray waters of the Atlantic, high dunes, the crash of waves, a craggily shore set against a cool blue autumn sky. Off the coast sailboats glide with their mast raised and people gather around fires on the beach for a fall clambake. It’s the best of life in New England, and the Race Point Pullover from Interweave Knits Fall 2018 perfectly captures that nautical aesthetic.

The wiggling cables are clearly inspired by sailboat rigging, and are simple enough for a cable novice—I promise! The oversized fit, high-low split hem, luscious ribbing at neck and sleeves, and luscious squish of the moss stitch make this beautiful cabled pullover the ideal fall layer to wear through the winter and for years to come.

This sweater is made in soft and affordable Sugar Bush Yarns Crisp, a 100% superwash merino DK that makes those cables and stitches POP out of your fabric. This sweater is worked in pieces from the bottom up, so take care when washing this for the first time. We’d suggest laying it flat to dry for a lifetime of wear.

With love,
Meghan Babin, editor Interweave Knits
