Interweave Knits Fall ’23 Fiber Review: Beautiful, Fiber-ful Autumn

Ready to knit your first sweater? Fiona Munro’s Robertson Cardigan in Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash is a fantastic choice! This yarn is affordable, comes in dozens of colors, and doesn’t require special care.

Manos del Uruguay Alegria

Fiber content: 75% Merino superwash, 25% polyamide
Colors: Thistle, Cinnamon, Copper

Weight: Fingering

The generous yardage in these richly colored hanks was intended for socks, but we love to use it in shawls, too! Choose three beautiful shades, and a main color to accent them, when you make Jennifer Kent’s Stack Bond Wrap. 

IllÎmani Yarn Sabri

Fiber content: 85% organic cotton, 15% baby alpaca

This buttery-soft blend of cotton and alpaca makes a sweater perfect for late summer and early fall. We love the impact of these high-contrast colors when slipping stitches in the Mim Sweater by Debi Maige.
