Helping Hands Foundation Needle Arts Mentoring Program – KDTV 212
The Helping Hands Foundation provides publicity, documents, start up supplies, how-to books and a leadership guide for after-school programs, scout groups or other youth groups that establish a Needle Arts Mentoring Program (SM). Penny Sitler from The National Needle Arts Association (TNNA) appears on Knitting Daily TV Episode 212 to talk about the program and introduce a group of teens from a Cleveland, Ohio high school who learned to knit and crochet from volunteers at their school, supported with projects and materials provided by the Helping Hands Foundation to get them started.
